The Bread Store
Paradise for those who love the smell of freshly-baked bread! This small shop is packed with bread of all different shapes, sizes and types. There are traditional white/wholemeal loaves, either organic or otherwise, as well as French sticks, ciabatta, rolls, baps and crusty cobs. The specialty breads, include mushroom and rosemary, sun-dried tomato and green or black olive. Absolutely delicious. It's also one of the few places to stock 100 per cent rye bread and Irish soda bread. They do cakes too - dough nuts, iced buns, carrot cake, shortbread, tea cakes and flapjack.

REVAMP, the leading not-for-profit WEEE collector and reuser in Bristol. Through our activities we not only reduce the environmental impact of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) but we also deliver social outputs through our parent charity SOFA PROJECT.
Our aim is to re-use as much WEEE as possible, since re-use brings many more environmental benefits than recycling. It also delivers social benefits for families unable to afford brand new electrical goods.

Friends of Badocks Wood
Badock's Wood covers an area of approximately 8 hectares. It is a small, semi-natural, broad-leaved woodland situated in a limestone valley (with adjacent areas of grassland) in the north-west of Bristol, between Henleaze and Southmead. It therefore provides a wildlife haven in an urban setting. To the north of the site, in an area of open grassland, is a Bronze Age burial mound (tumulus). The latter has been classified as “Middle Bronze Age, constructed about 1300BC”.

The Society was started in March 1995, as the Old Duke Jazz Society, in response to -the overwhelming support given to the campaign to save Jazz at the Old Duke. This demonstrated the popularity of live jazz in the Bristol area and the need for jazz fans to keep in touch with the local 'scene'. The name was changed to reflect the fact that the Society is involved in promoting and supporting jazz throughout the Bristol area and beyond! We intend in the future to foster young musicians and schools, and encourage them to play instruments and learn more about music - especially Jazz!

Each winter Wednesday we have a programme of slide-shows, quizzes, talks and socialising. April to end of September 1st Wednesdays of the month and other Wednesdays througout the summer there will be rides starting and ending locally. We also arrange cycling holidays, treasure hunts, touring competitions, Audax rides, time trials and mountain bike rides.

All about motorbiking life and motorbiking in Bristol. Bristol MAG has developed a very good relationship with the City Council, several years ago we gained access to Bus lanes in Bristol and other councils are now following their lead. The City Council have produced a map of bike parks and are consulting us about the £25,000 they have allocated for secure motorcycle parking. They also actively support The Bristol Bike Show which is a large city-centre show held right in the middle of town.

MS First
Multiple Sclerosis, is a progressive disabling condition in young adults affecting around 1000 families in Bristol and around 90,000 people in the UK. The Bristol MS Research Unit at Bristol General Hospital has been serving the local MS community for over 10 years. The Unit's pioneering work is internationally acknowledged. Research focuses on understanding MS and improving treatment. A recently opened information centre managed by people who have first-hand experience of MS offers information and help across a range of topics and problems. The Research Unit is supported by MSFirst through the Charitable Trusts of United Bristol Hospitals.
